The 2020/21 Regional Preferente Menorca season gets underway this Saturday, October 24.

There will be 12 teams in this season’s competition, playing each other home and away, with the final league game currently scheduled for the weekend of June 6, 2021.

Last season’s champions CE Mercadal, who were beaten as the only Menorcan representative in the promotion play-offs back in July, start with a home game against CE Ferreries.

Atletico Villacarlos return to the league for the first time in eight years by kicking off the season away at UE Sami, with all three Ciutadella clubs at home on the opening weekend.

There are already some COVID concerns regarding the start of the league season, after a player at CE Alaior tested positive for coronavirus, and is now isolating.

They are due to host Sporting Mahon on Saturday at 7pm.
